Max Air CEO Mangal Dies After Brief Illness

THE Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Max Air, Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal is dead.

Bashir, who is the younger brother of businessman and Chairman of Max Air, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal, died in Abuja on Friday after a brief illness.

According to information made available to News Point Nigeria by family sources, the funeral prayer for the deceased took place in Katsina yesterday evening.

A statement made available by the media consultant to the airline said Mangal died in the early hours of Friday, December 23, 2022.

The statement written in Arabic and English languages read in part: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, this is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air in the early hours of today Friday 23rd December 2022. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”
