AT least three police officers have been killed while two others sustained injuries after suspected terrorists attacked a Police Mobile Force (PMF) camp in Tenebo community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
News Point Nigeria reports that the deadly attack occurred in the early hours of Saturday, throwing the agrarian community into panic as terrified residents fled their homes amid heavy gunfire.

A resident of the area, Suleiman Issa, recounted the frightening incident, describing the attack as a terrible situation that left villagers in fear.
“This ugly killings happened at the early hours of 1am, just at midnight in Tenebo village, Kaiama,” Issa said.
“A terrible situation happened! Bandits came in their large numbers and invaded the villagers, people were killed and some were wounded.”

The latest assault has again highlighted the growing insecurity in parts of Kaiama Local Government Area, where armed groups have repeatedly attacked communities and security formations in recent months.
On April 20, suspected terrorists reportedly overran a joint security outpost in Kemanji community, killing at least three soldiers and two vigilantes while carting away an army gun truck and other security equipment.
Earlier, on April 10, five members of a local forest guard unit were killed in Nuku community, with attackers also setting operational vehicles and facilities ablaze.
