The Objective Of Obasanjo’s Offensive Opprobrium

    By Bala IbrahimFebruary 28, 2023

FORMER Nigeria’s military Head of state and twice elected President, Chief Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Ogunboye Aremu Obasanjo, GCFR, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to demand a review of the ongoing election results collation process, because of what he described as electoral fraud, alleging that most of the results that are brought outside BVAS and Server are not true reflection of the will of Nigerians.

    BORNO PATRIOTS

Through a statement personally signed by him, yesterday, Monday, 27/02/2023, Baba Aremu said the results of last Saturday’s presidential election have been “DOCTORED AND MANIPULATED. I put the verbs doctored and manipulated in capital letters on purpose, because I want to show their alliance, or relationship with Obasanjo, being the Grandfather of doctoring and Manipulator-General of Nigeria.

The last time I checked the educational qualification of Obasanjo, the Encyclopaedia said he has a PhD from the National Open University of Nigeria. So he is a doctor. They say he has a PhD in Christian theology, where by doctrine, God is conceived as Father and Son, but from the attitude and antecedents of Obasanjo, methinks he must have attempted to doctor a counter thesis, through some manipulations, that would insert his position as the Grandfather of Nigeria. Yes, if the Almighty God is the father of the universe, Obasanjo would want to be seen as the Grandfather of Nigeria.

Using the Grandfather Syndrome, which is always arrogantly displayed by Obasanjo, he feels analytically and anthropologically superior to everything and everyone, living or dead in Nigeria. Because of this, Obasanjo has made a reputation in the display of detrimental character and traits, that make him feel immune to the respect of constitutional provisions, or acting in accordance with the provisions of the law.

For those familiar with the world’s most successful mafia fiction novel, the Godfather, which featured Luca Brasi, described in the book as an unholy demon, who went to Don Corleone, the Godfather for protection, and who was the most loyal and trusted enforcer of ruthlessness, and one that carried out murders and beatings on behalf of the Don. Luca Brasi’s towering figure, fearsome size and intimidating face, combined to strike fear into everyone, except Don Corleone himself.

The reputation of Luca as an unrepentant loyalist of the Don, as well as a brutal killer with an unlimited potential for inflicting vicious violence on those who betray, or cross the border of the Corleone family, made him fear no one, including God, except by his chosen option, to fear Don Corleone.

I read that book more than ten times, and each time I came across Luca Brasi, my mind goes to Chief Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Ogunboye Aremu Obasanjo, GCFR of Nigeria. Obasanjo arrogates to himself a position higher than that which is assigned other individuals that were manufactured by God, as co-partners in the contraption called Nigeria.

In 2007, after his attempt to manipulate and forge a third term in office, against the provision of the constitution of Nigeria, Obasanjo conducted a sham general election that produced late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as his successor. Almost immediately, the foreign observers slammed the credibility of the election, which claimed at least 200 lives. The then National Election Commission said Yar’Adua had won with 24.6 million votes, well ahead of his two main rivals. Even Yar’adua himself admitted that the election that gave him victory was faulty.

According to the then American secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, who was in Nigeria as the head of an observer team, “Nigeria’s electoral process was going in the wrong direction. 2007 represents a step backward in the conduct of elections in Nigeria. In many places, in a number of ways, the electoral process failed the Nigerian people”. Umar Yar’Adua was backed by Obasanjo, the same Obasanjo that is alleging electoral fraud now.

Nigerian TAX Reform - Federal Goverment

Before then, in 2003, after his first term in office, Obasanjo conducted his first general election, where he rigged out the governor of Ogun State, his home state and four other governors of the South-west. As the sitting President, Obasanjo used the police to rig out the entire south west, making his party, the PDP, to forcefully take over from the Alliance for Democracy, AD.

Sen.Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the then governor of Lagos State, was the only one that outsmarted Obasanjo and survived the fraudulent invasion. The same Tinubu has once again outsmarted Obasanjo, who is shamelessly alleging electoral fraud now.

It is extremely imperative to understand that doctoring and manipulation are closely connected with Obasanjo. In fact, when you insert the phrase, telling lies, to the words doctoring and manipulation, the dictionary may shorten your search to Obasanjo. like Luca Brasi, Obasanjo does not fear God and does not fear telling lies, as a consequence of which, he has the objective for offensive opprobrium.
