THE Director General, Media and Publicity to Kano State Governor Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa emerged the winner of 2023 political communicator of the year.
The award ceremony which took place Friday night at Tahir Guest Palace, was organised by the Arewa Agenda in partnership with PR Nigeria.
Sanusi was recognised due to his contribution in running harmless media campaigns before and after elections.
While delivering the award, Chairman PR Nigeria Dr. Sule Ya’u Sule said Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa has taken the political communication to a new dimension through strategic engagement with stakeholders including those in the opposition.
While commending on the award, the Alhaji Yusha’u Shuaibu, the Managing Director of Image Merchant described Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as an energetic Spokesperson who is dedicated to his duties and ready to deliver exceptionally.
During the ceremony, 30 youth under 30 years of age were also awarded in various categories of human endeavours.
