At NTA Dutse, Comrade Ismaila commended the station for its “quality news coverage and professionally crafted programmes” that, according to him, “promote peace, unity, and development across Jigawa State.”

He reaffirmed the Union’s commitment to ensuring that “the voice of Jigawa people is heard loud and clear,” reflecting their genuine aspirations and hopes.

“As the voice of the people, the NUJ will leave no stone unturned to ensure that journalists in Jigawa are respected, empowered, and positioned to tell the stories that matter,” he said.

In his response, the General Manager of NTA Dutse, Malam Ibrahim Muhammad, praised the NUJ leadership for its renewed commitment to revitalize and restore the glory of journalism in the state.

He pledged NTA’s full cooperation and unwavering support for all NUJ initiatives, describing the visit as “a refreshing reminder of the shared vision of media practitioners.”

At Freedom Radio Dutse, the Station Manager, Alhaji Ali Aminu Falaki, expressed delight over the visit, commending the new NUJ leadership for its remarkable strides within a short period in office.

“This engagement marks the beginning of a renewed friendship built on trust, professionalism, and shared responsibility,” Tukur remarked.

Meanwhile, Comrade Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse disclosed that the NUJ leadership plans to extend similar visits to other prominent media outfits in the coming weeks, including Horizon FM Dutse, Sawaba FM Hadejia, and Fa’ida FM Malammadori.

He emphasized that the visits are designed not just for courtesy but to build a sustainable framework for collaboration, ethical practice, and professional development among journalists in Jigawa State.

The Jigawa State NUJ under the leadership of Comrade Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse has been at the forefront of advocating for journalist welfare, professional integrity, and stronger collaboration among media institutions.

The Union’s latest initiative is part of a statewide effort to reposition the media as a catalyst for good governance, social justice, and sustainable development.
