A FEDERAL High Court in Abuja has declined to bar Governor Siminalayi Fubara from spending government funds pending the hearing and determining the suit filed by the Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly. JUSTICE James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has reinstated Philip Shaibu as the Deputy Governor of Edo State, months after he was impeached by the state assembly. In the Wednesday judgment, Justice Omotoso said the impeachment by the Edo State House of Assembly was illegal and unconstitutional.
