International Women’s Day 2024: IAWPA Honours Crystal Sam-Ogbuku With Youth Peace Volunteer Award

THE International Association Of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has announced that Miss Crystal Enato Sam-Ogbuku will be given the prestigious Youth Peace Volunteer Award by the highest organ of the  association from the World Peace President Amb. Per Stafsen of the Kingdom of Denmark.

A statement signd by the International Spokesman of IAWPA, Amb Emmanuel Nkweke said the passion, commitment and dedication of Miss Crystal Sam-Ogbuku to peace in her native Niger Delta region as a young person whose parents are Eminent Peace Ambassadors serve as testimony for being a recipient of the special award.

The award to be bestowed on young Miss Crystal Enato which will take place in Port Harcourt during the observation of the United Nations International Women’s Day, will witness a new vista of opportunities that will enable her join the ranks of young people that are joining hands with the United Nations to achieve global peace.

Amb. Nkweke in the statement said Miss Crystal will become the first young person in Africa to receive such award and also the first young person in Africa to lead a delegation of other young persons to attend the International Day of the Girl Child billed to hold in Denmark which is incidentally where the World Peace President of IAWPA Amb Per Stafsen Hails from.

Other activities geared up for the young Crystal Enato Sam-Ogbuku before the Denmark event, include her presentation to the governor’s of the 9 states in the Niger Delta region and to the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs who herself is desirous of seeing young girls being engaged in such activities as well as her presentation to the office of His Excellency, the Ambassador of Denmark to Nigeria.
