Lado represented Kano Central Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly from 2011 to 2015. In the Senate, he served as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works.

“As Senator Lado attains 60, I commend his commitment to public service, loyalty to our Renewed Hope administration and invaluable contributions to strengthening democratic governance in Nigeria.

“I congratulate him on this milestone and wish him good health, wisdom and strength as he continues to serve our nation.”
