PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Lagos for Abuja on Monday evening after a six-day visit to the former seat of government.
News Point Nigeria reports that President Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Tuesday, September 29, following his annual vacation in London and Paris.
During his stay in Lagos, the President addressed Nigerians on October 1 as part of activities marking the country’s 66th Independence Day anniversary.
Later that day, Tinubu attended the national premiere of MKO, a documentary chronicling the life, political struggle and enduring legacy of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola and the historic June 12 pro-democracy struggle.
The President also paid a visit on Sunday to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Akiolu, at his Iga Iduganran Palace on Lagos Island.
The Lagos visit is coming to an end with the President’s scheduled departure for Abuja this evening, according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
