Today, We Give Way To Our Readers To React – By Dr Hassan Gimba

There is a Pain behind that Smile. Just do your bit

We shall continue doing our best, in sha Allah. May their souls rest in peace, ameen.

    Dear Dr Hasan Gimba

Your write-up touched me and shook the inner core of my conscience. All the characters mentioned as examples (human – your late wife and your late colleague, and animals – flies and mosquitoes) demonstrate the fleeting motion of life, and the ephemerality of mortal existence. Moral of the matter: Let’s not take life for granted and let’s be the best we can be while we are on this temporary planet.

Professor Usman Tar, Honourable Commissioner, Information and Internal Security, Borno State.

Just read. A food for thought indeed! May Allah forgive the departed, give us the ability to mend our ways and grant us a good ending.

Truly, there is pain behind every smile; this piece brought me tears. It’s only you who can tell what pains you endure and still put a smile on your face. We just say AlhamdulilLah.

A tragic but soul-lifting piece. Thanks for taking a break from ADC, APC, Bulaba, and so many other madnesses ravaging our country to speak to our conscience, reminding us life is short, no matter how long it appears and why we must do our bit before leaving.

Tragic are the stories of your nephew, late wife, to the editor. I can relate to them, knowing about the passing of your wife and editor. Also, that I lost my dear mother-in-law a few days ago makes the message resonate well with me.

Thanks for the soul-lifting conclusion: “Therefore, always read and see behind the smile of all creation. Be good to all. Meaning unto all, do your bit, because whatever you do, good or bad, you are doing it to a part of you, and it must affect you physically, mentally or spiritually, positively or negatively, according to your intentions.”

Hmmmm, may Allah (SWT) forgive them, have mercy on their souls and may He give us the fortitude to bear the loss, amin. There is a lot of pain within, but Allah knows what is best; may their souls rest in Jannah.

Very touching! May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Nuclear Truths and Selective Justice: The Treaty and the World’s Dance with Hipocrity
    (https://hassangimba.me/nuclear-truths-and-selective-justice-the-treaty-and-the-wests-dance-with-hypocrity-2-by-hassan-gimba/)
Thank you for your perspective. The following is what I can deduce from the event in issue.

I believe America, Israel, and their supporters have been misapplying the law of physics, which states that Action and reaction are equal and opposite, in recent times. They seem to have overlooked the possibility that this principle may not apply to human interactions. You may say, for instance, that you would slap your adversary on the assumption that he would just retaliate by slapping you. Alas!!! The fellow may respond with several shots on target from his AK-47.

This one-and-a-half-week war has shown that Israel can be obliterated within days by a Nation such as Iran, whether the super terrorist Nation, the USA, is in cahoots with Israel or not.

All said, the balance of military power has shifted for good in the Middle East. I also think this is enough mortification for them and the “Bible thumbers” among them to stop the bland blasphemy of some god of Israel sanctioning the genocide in Gaza.

This, I must add, is not to be construed as an endorsement or support for Hamas’ murderous strategy generally.

Apt, factual and investigative. Kudos sir.

This is a fair write-up by Hassan Gimba. Mai Mala Buni is not only trying, but he’s also doing much better; however, the media is often silent about his remarkable milestones.

Among all his political appointees, no one is doing the same as you, vowing their head and posting any bit of his achievements like S.A. despite the high level of recognition and dignity you have in this administration, I am always asking myself, are the remaining youth representatives seriously in support of him or just maintain their monthly earnings?

Alhamdulillah for your tireless effort, dedication, and commitment toward the success of this government; I am proud of you, Sir Dr Mohammed Goje.

This is a food for thought. The article describes life in a way that’s easy to understand. It is left for one to act decisively. Life waits for no one, whether one does what is expected of them or not, time keeps moving. May Allah forgive the souls of the departed, give us the ability to mend our ways and grant us a good ending. Thank you, sir, for this wonderful piece.

This is a great lesson. As you rightly captured, a word is enough for the wise. May Almighty ALLAH forgive and grant him eternal rest.
