GOVERNOR Malam Umar A. Namadi has approved the deployment of three newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the redeployment of four others across various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Jigawa State.
The development was announced in a statement sent to News Point Nigeria on Thursday by the State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri.
According to the statement, the exercise forms part of ongoing efforts by the state government to strengthen public service delivery and ensure effective administrative coordination across key sectors.
Under the approved redeployments, Abba Mustapha Yola was moved from the Directorate of Research, Evaluation and Political Affairs in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to the Directorate of Council Affairs and Special Services in the same office.
Bello Datti was redeployed from the Directorate of Council Affairs and Special Services to the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Cooperatives and Tourism.
Nasiru Haruna was transferred from the Ministry of Power and Energy to the Directorate of Research, Evaluation and Political Affairs in the Office of the SSG.
Similarly, Mahmoud Isah was redeployed from the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Cooperatives and Tourism to the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
In addition to the redeployments, Governor Namadi approved the posting of three new Permanent Secretaries to strategic ministries.
Ashiru Muhammed has been posted to the Ministry of Power and Energy, while Yunusa Usman will serve at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. Dr. Salisu Abdullahi has been deployed to the Ministry of Livestock Development.
The statement noted that all postings and redeployments take immediate effect.
The government urged the affected officers to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new assignments in line with the administration’s commitment to efficient governance and service delivery.
