THE Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.
News Point Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Police Force announced the new postings in a statement published on its official X handle on Friday, explaining that the deployments form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible police information, and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders.

According to the approval, Superintendent of Police Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5. He can be reached on 08038773657.

Similarly, SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be contacted on 09152481510.

In another deployment, DSP Imah Unwana Victor has been posted to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) and can be reached on 08038281577.
The Nigeria Police Force explained that the deployments are aimed at ensuring the effective dissemination of information and fostering closer collaboration with members of the public and the media across the affected commands and formations.
