THE Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Umar Abubakar-Tafida, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Tinubu, and Governor Nasir Idris.
News Point Nigeria reprots that Abubakar-Tafida stated this shortly after a meeting with Governor Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday.
He expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the 2027 general elections and urged party members in Kebbi State to close ranks and support all the party’s candidates.
The deputy governor also appealed to his supporters and associates to continue supporting Governor Idris for the success of his administration.
He thanked the people of Kebbi State for their prayers and support throughout his tenure, assuring them that he remained a loyal member of the APC and a committed servant of the people.
“My door remains open to continue to contribute to the progress of our state,” he said.
