FOUNDER of the MAAUN Group of Universities and President of the Association of Africa Private Universities (AAPU), Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has paid a glowing tribute to the Vice Chancellor of Northwest University Kano, Amina Salihi Bayero, as she marks her 56th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday, Prof. Gwarzo described Prof. Bayero as a distinguished scholar, seasoned academic and exemplary administrator whose immense contributions to higher education have earned her widespread respect within and beyond the academic community.
He said the occasion offered a fitting opportunity to celebrate a woman whose professional journey has been defined by scholarship, humility and an unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
“It is with immense gratitude to Almighty Allah that we congratulate a distinguished scholar and the first female Vice Chancellor of Northwest University, Kano, Prof. Amina Salihi Bayero, on this auspicious occasion.

According to him, Prof. Bayero’s emergence as the first female vice chancellor of Northwest University remains a landmark achievement that has further strengthened the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence and innovation.
