KWARA State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has sued a politician and businessman, Moshood Mustapha; and his brother, Bolakale Mustapha, over alleged disturbance of public peace, false declaration, and uploading of an online video that could incite the public against the governor.
The two men were arraigned before Justice Muhammed Abdulgafar at the State High Court on Monday.
They, however, pleaded not guilty to the five counts levelled against them in the video the governor said could caused public incitement against him and the government.
They were granted bail in the sum of five million naira, while the case was adjourned till July 18, 2025, for commencement of trial.
The case looks unique as the second defendant is a member of the All Progressives Congress before a fallout with the governor and the public are waiting to know how the case will end.
