The Minister’s communication approach, it added, aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which prioritises inclusive governance, accountability, and sustainable national development, particularly through accelerated infrastructure delivery.

The Minister also urged the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations to deepen its role in promoting awareness of government policies and programmes, especially in the area of infrastructure under the current administration.

He stressed that as the nation’s foremost professional communication body, the Institute has a critical responsibility to effectively inform citizens about policy reforms, infrastructural projects, and the tangible impact of government initiatives on national development.

Expressing appreciation for the honour, Goronyo described the Fellowship as both a recognition of service and a renewed call to greater responsibility, reiterating the importance of ethical and professional communication in governance.
