THE Taraba State government has issued a ban on the movement of cattle to and from the Mambilla Plateau in the Sardauna Local Government Area, following the confirmation of an outbreak of hemorrhagic septicemia, a deadly livestock disease. FOUR persons have died in a boat mishap at Dundaye community in Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State. BANDITS have ambushed soldiers on patrol in Gudu Local Government Area of Sokoto State, killing four of them. Two others were also injured during the attack which occurred this weekend.
