NO fewer than six traders lost their lives on Friday when their convoy of vehicles ran into bandits in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State. THE Yobe State government has cancelled the licences of all private schools in the state and asked operators interested in following the laid rules and regulations to re-apply for new licences. ONE photographer and a police escort have reportedly died in a road accident involving the convoy of the deputy governor of Sokoto State, Engineer Idris Gobir. AN improvised explosive device (IED) has claimed the life of an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abubakar Nurudeen, in Jakana, Konduga Local Government Area, along the Maiduguri-Damaturu road, Borno State.
