PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a national address on Friday, June 12, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration.
The announcement was made in a statement sent to News Point Nigeria on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the Democracy Day broadcast is scheduled to air at 7:00 a.m. on the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
The Presidency said the nationwide address will form part of events commemorating Democracy Day, observed annually on June 12 to celebrate Nigeria’s democratic journey and the sacrifices made in the struggle for democratic governance.
It further directed all television and radio stations across the country to link up with the broadcast to ensure Nigerians have access to the President’s message.
The address is expected to be aired simultaneously through the designated national broadcast platforms.
