ADENIYI Adeyemi, convener of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), is expected to appear before the Federal High Court in Abuja on July 27, 2027, to answer an eight-count charge bordering on alleged forgery and impersonation filed against him by the Nigeria Police Force.

News Point Nigeria reports that the charges, filed on November 27, 2025, also name two other suspects identified simply as Femi and Anu, whose surnames remain unknown and who are currently at large.

According to the police, Adeyemi and the two other suspects are accused of forging presidential letter-headed papers and other official documents allegedly used in connection with the operations of the purported council.

The police alleged that Adeyemi, Femi and Anu forged a request for collaboration with the Ministry of the Area of Land Requisition and offices across the 36 states of the federation, purportedly issued from the State House, Abuja.

The presidency had earlier disclosed that the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, alerted the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in October 2025 following complaints that the purported agency was operating alongside the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).

According to the presidency, Gbajabiamila informed security agencies that forged appointment letters bearing his signature, official reference numbers and seals were being used to legitimise the activities of the alleged fictitious agency.

The eight-count charge filed by the police accuses Adeyemi and the two other suspects of conspiracy, forgery and false personation under relevant provisions of Nigerian law.
