PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to three outstanding Nigerian students; Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli for their record-breaking performance at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
The trio clinched top honours in the global academic contest, beating participants from across the world in English communication skills and debate.
In a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the students were recognised for their stellar achievements: 17-year-old Nafisa was named Overall Best in English Language Skills, 15-year-old Rukayya emerged Overall Best in Debate and Hadiza Kalli received the Outstanding Talent Award (Gold Medal)
President Tinubu described the teenagers as “exceptional ambassadors of Nigeria” and affirmed that their triumph reflects the immense potential of Nigerian youth. He said their success is a testament to the quality of education and talent within the country.
“With young minds like Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza blazing trails on the global stage, the future of our nation is truly bright,” the President noted.
He also praised the schools and states that nurtured the champions, saying they play a pivotal role in producing such global talents.
Highlighting the importance of education to national development, President Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to investing in education and easing access for underprivileged students through initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
The President urged the champions to remain focused in their academic pursuits and wished them greater success in their future endeavours.
