THE Adamawa State government has closed down public and private schools following the outbreak of measles that has killed 42 children in the State. The closure notice was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Aisha Umar, in Yola on Monday. THE Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu, has removed 15 traditional rulers from their positions following the recommendation of a committee he constituted to investigate various allegations levelled against them.
