THIRTY people are feared dead following fresh multiple attacks by armed bandits on several villages in Dutsinma and Safana local government areas (LGAs) of Katsina State. Dutsinma and Safana are two of the frontline LGAs where activities of bandits have been on the increase despite security agencies and government interventions to decimate insurgency in the areas. THE Nigeria Police Force has announced the rescue of the two daughters of Aminu Ardo, a member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, who were abducted in November 2022. THE Adamawa Government said it has recorded no fewer than 838 cases of measles and 49 deaths in the state.
