The presidential aspiration of former Kano state governor, Engineer Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso suffered a big setback tonight as the Gombe state chairman of his party, the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Abdullahi Maikano Umar defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Maikano announced his defection after meeting Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, at his residence today.
