GOOD day everyone and Happy New Month of May. You are welcome to another new edition of NOA ON THE MOVE. In the previous edition, we reviewed the Director-General’s Advocacy and Sensitization visit to Niger State.

The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, recently visited the Oyo State Directorate as part of his familiarization exercise to all the States. The visit was aimed at promoting the relevance of the Agency in the achievement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration. During his address to the staff of the State Directorate, Malam Issa-Onilu reiterated the value that the present administration places on the Agency.

He urged the staff of the state directorate to contribute their best at ensuring the successful launch of the Value Charter by the President, Bola Ahmed Tinunbu coming up very soon and that they should work towards promoting its ideals.  As party of the program for the visit, the staff members of the directorate presented a playlet on value reorientation.

The State Director, Dr. Kemi Afolayan, in her response, promised to work in tandem with the values and aspirations of the new Director-General to achieve the required success. She expressed her commitment to promoting the ideals of the Agency and ensuring that the staff work towards achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration. During his visit, Malam Issa-Onilu paid homage to His Imperial Majesty, the late Olubadan of Ibadanland.

He equally paid a Courtesy Visit to the Ibadan Business Radio Station where he thanked the Management of the Radio station for allocating 30 minutes of airtime to the Agency for the enlightenment of the Oyo State citizens. To round off his visit to the State, he had a robust session with the media at the Agency’s State Headquarters.

In conclusion, the visit of the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency to the Oyo State Directorate was a success. The Director-General’s commitment to promoting the ideals of the Agency and ensuring the welfare of its employees was evident throughout his visit. The State Directorate’s efforts in promoting value reorientation and in supporting the ideals of the National Value Charter were also commendable. It is hoped that his visit will further strengthen and encourage the State Directorate’s staff members to promote the ideals of national unity, patriotism, and responsibility among Nigerians.
