Governor Fintiri’s APC Comeback: A Game-Changer For Adamawa State? – By Umar D. Duhu, LLM, PhD

    Fintiri Laments

HIS Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is a highly respected and accomplished leader who has served Adamawa State with distinction, first as a Hon. Member and Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, then as Acting Governor, and currently as the elected Two Term Governor.

    BORNO PATRIOTS

His commitment to the people of Adamawa State is evident in his various initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents, ensuring sustainable development, and fostering positive transformation in the State.

His leadership has been marked by significant achievements, including but not limited to the launch of an empowerment cash support scheme for small-scale entrepreneurs in 2024. Governor Fintiri’s dedication to public service has earned him recognition, including the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) Governor of the Year Award on Urban Infrastructure.

Given his impressive track record and commitment to the people of Adamawa State, I strongly believe that Governor Fintiri’s decision to join the APC is a positive development for the Party and the State as a whole. His leadership and vision will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the APC, and his experience and knowledge of the state will enable him to make significant contributions to the party’s success in Adamawa State.

Governor Fintiri’s joining of the APC will bring immense contribution and development to the Party, including:

    – His wealth of experience in governance and public service, which will be invaluable in shaping the party’s policies and programs

    – His strong leadership skills, which will help to mobilize and galvanize party members and supporters

    – His commitment to sustainable development, which will align with the party’s goals and objectives

    – His reputation as a champion of the people, which will help to enhance the party’s image and credibility

In light of these benefits, it is clear that Governor Fintiri’s joining of the APC will be a significant boost to the Party’s fortunes and bring it back to winning ways in Adamawa State. Therefore, the question on everyone’s mind is: who will stop the unstoppable from joining APC, which he was a Pioneering Member?

Will it be the PDP, who will likely try to retain one of their most valuable assets? Or will it be other APC Members, who may be concerned about the implications of Governor Fintiri’s joining on their own positions and influence?

Whatever the case may be, one thing is certain: Governor Fintiri’s joining of the APC will be a game-changer for the party and the state, and it will be exciting to see how it all unfolds!

To me, it’s an excellent development, but to others whose interest might be trampled on in the best public interest, kindly bear with the situation. This development is for the general good of our dear State as a whole.

In fact, His Excellency Governor Fintiri’s joining of the APC will bring numerous benefits to the State, including:

    – Enhanced economic development: Governor Fintiri’s experience in governance and public service will enable him to attract investments and create jobs for the people of Adamawa State

    – Improved infrastructure: Governor Fintiri’s commitment to sustainable development will ensure that the state’s infrastructure is developed and maintained, providing a conducive environment for businesses to thrive

    – Better healthcare and education: Governor Fintiri’s reputation as a champion of the people will ensure that the state’s healthcare and education sectors are improved, providing better services for the people of Adamawa State

    – Increased security: Governor Fintiri’s strong leadership skills will enable him to work with security agencies to ensure that the State is safe and secure for all residents.

Overall, Governor Fintiri’s joining of the APC is a positive development for the party and the state, and it will bring numerous benefits to the people of Adamawa State. Therefore, let us all come together to support this development and work towards the betterment of our dear State above selfishness!
