Nude Protest: Your Desperation Debases Women, Group Tells PDP, Obi

A GROUP, the Non-Indigene Women Movement For A A Sule has condemned the nude protest by some women in Nassarawa state over the outcome of the March 18th Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

The group in a statement signed by its Coordinator, Barrister Mrs Ogbu Francisca, described the nude protest as a desperate move from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party to debase women in the state for their political gains.

According to the statement, the display of naked bodies of women is a shame and must not be encouraged as there are more modest ways of protesting such outcomes.

Francisca then called on women not to cheapen themselves through such despicable acts for politicians especially ones who will only identify themselves with such a cause during the electioneering periods.
