CHIDI Nwogu (former member of the House of Representatives for Nkwerre/Isu & Nwangele LGAs), has congratulated the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodimma (Onwa), on his prestigious ‘Governor of the Year 2024 on Infrastructure Award’ by Vanguard Newspapers.
In a statement signed by him and released Friday, Nwogu noted that the award “perfectly symbolises the governor’s hard work and dedication to the success of Imo state.”
The statement read in part, “over the past years the Imo State governor has continued to shine like the northern star as he remained steadfast and focused on provision of quality and standard infrastructure to the State, especially critical road infrastructure linking major towns of Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe in the state.
“More so, the governor has stepped up his involvement in opening up major agrarian parts of the state by extending same road networks to the rural communities in the local government areas”.
Hon Nwogu wishes and prays that God Almighty continue to give the governor all the required enablements to continue and even do more in his good strides towards provisions of more dividends of democracy to Imolites before the end of his dispensation.
