THE Majikiran Adamawa, Alhaji Auwal Sani has expressed appreciation for the condolence messages and visits to him, following the death of his father, Alhaji Sani.
Late Alhaji Sani passed away a week ago and has since been buried according to Islamic rites in Yola, Adamawa State.
Majikira , in a statement personally signed by him, on Thursday, said he is thankful for letters of condolence, visits, and phone calls by notable Nigerians over this irreparable loss.
According to the statement, among those that sent condolence messages or telephoned were His Excellency, Vice President, Kashim Shettima and Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Wazirin Adamawa).
Others were HRH Lamido Of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, Chief Of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, Distinguished Senators, Honourable Members, House or Representatives as well as Hajiya Kulu Abba Kyari (Gimbiya Jama’are).
Alhaji Auwal Sani further thanked the Governor of Adamawa, Alhaji Umaru Fintiri who visited to condole with him and the Deputy Governor Of Borno state, Alhaji Umar Usman Kadafur, who sent a delegation to Adamawa.
